A goal of mine is to share more of my original inspirational paintings with the world at Envibrance Dream Creations. I’ve decided to plan and work on this goal consistently to ensure that I keep up the traction.
Need a resource to help you keep track of your dreams? I love my Flourish Planner from Monica Lee at Smart Creative Women! David Oyelowo & Oprah Winfrey star in SELMA, in select theaters Christmas Day, everywhere January 9th. Visit the official site: http://SelmaMovie.com
Why This Film is So Important: What happened in Selma we see happening today is more than a race issue – it’s a spirit issue. We are spirit having a human experience in unique, beautiful vessels that Love created. Darkness tries to keep us from seeking deeper truth and distracts us from seeing Light by having us focus on what we see – the temporary.
We’ve warred among ourselves since the beginning of history but the real issues in life are rooted in the greatest battle at hand – against darkness and principalities, for spirit and eternity. From the genesis of our world to the revelation we have now, it’s time to come back, to return to love and the way God meant our lives to be.
Thank you director Ava DuVernay, Oprah Winfrey, David Oyelowo and everyone involved for bringing us this inspiring story, life-piercing art and the vital message to live a dream of impact that focuses on a higher purpose. #Selma #forsuchatimeasThis #Glory
I loved hearing the stories behind the making of this story, watch the full press conference for the SELMA movie below, with the actors, producers and more including David Oyelowo, Jeremy Kleiner, Oprah Winfrey, Tim Roth, Common, Tom Wilkinson, Dede Gardner, Carmen Egojo, Andrew Holland and director Ava DuVernay.
The song “Glory” from the movie, a striking collaboration between John Legend and Common, is so inspiring and has deep truths for anyone to hold on to:
I want to pay it forward and share mentorship and wisdom by giving the gift of entrepreneurship to other young dreamers (or the kid in you, remember when you dreamed and was creative without limits?) with this awesome book “The Parents’ Guide to Raising CEO Kids” by Dr. Jerry Cook and Sarah L. I hated the spotlight. The thought of talking to people, even in one-on-one conversation, petrified me. Years of being chained by anxiety since childhood imprisoned me.
It was taking small brave steps that challenged me – and also realizing that the people I’m meant to impact are more important than my fears – that encouraged me to be bold.
That teen girl who was considering suicide is more important than the fear that I will say the wrong thing. Those women who are afraid of following their dreams matter more than me being cozy in my comfort zone.
After years of being paralyzed by fear I now find myself feeling at home on all kinds of stages speaking to hundreds of people and doing creative presentations that I never thought possible!
P.S. You can get a Live Boldly Everyone Has Purpose T-shirt or hoodie from my shop to remind yourself and others of this truth! http://envibrance.com/shop
One of my dreams is to encourage young people to be entrepreneurs and Dreamers through my project DreamerENT.com, motivating them to start tapping into their purpose (focusing on who they are meant to be) right where they are. I also have a passion for inspiring YOU to reconnect with yourself when you were a kid – remember when you dared to dream freely? It’s time to reclaim that boundless childlike wonder and creativity and revive those sleeping dreams!
I’ve been a Dreamer and entrepreneur ever since I was a little girl sharing my artwork with friends and family (that’s me in the framed picture above). I recently realized that I started my current business Envibrance Dream Studios 10 years ago when I was a teen through the support of a wonderful organization that I am very grateful for, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Wow, time has flown by!
P.S. You can get this Sweet Dreams T-Shirt for any-sized Dreamer at my shop: http://envibrance.com/shop
